Playing on a worship team for years, we’ve frequently needed a way for the lead vocalist to talk to the band through their mic without everyone in the crowd hearing it.  The band all has in-ears, so we just needed a way to switch the vocal mic from front-of-house to monitors.  We also wanted to be able to do this discretely (wireless switch on the mic)

Here’s the solution, a microphone A-B switch controlled with a wireless remote.  The remote is small enough you can put it in your pocket, or strap it to the mic.

I added the little alien which would light up when the mic was switched, so you would know it’s safe to talk to the band.
